The right size, clear pricing, and no-chase pickups.
Porta Potty Rentals Mum approaches dumpster rental differently. We quote flat rates that include delivery, pickup, and a set rental window. Weight limits are disclosed upfront. Pickups happen when scheduled. And when you call, someone answers.
A homeowner orders a dumpster for a kitchen renovation. The quoted price seems reasonable. The container arrives — a day late. The final invoice includes fees for delivery, pickup, weight overage, and something called "environmental compliance." Total cost: 60% higher than expected.
They call to dispute the charges and get transferred three times. Eventually, they pay just to make it stop.
This story plays out constantly. It's what happens when dumpster rental gets treated as a commodity — when companies know you'll need the service, so they don't need to earn your trust.
Porta Potty Rentals Mum approaches dumpster rental differently. We quote flat rates that include delivery, pickup, and a set rental window. Weight limits are disclosed upfront. Pickups happen when scheduled. And when you call, someone answers.
Best for garage cleanouts, small bathroom renovations, and single-room projects. Fits in most residential driveways. Holds approximately 3 pickup truck loads.
The most versatile size. Handles kitchen and bathroom remodels, roofing jobs, and larger cleanouts. Low profile for easier loading.
For significant projects: full-home renovations, large-scale landscaping, commercial cleanouts. Requires adequate site access.
Maximum capacity for construction, demolition, or industrial applications. For sites that can accommodate the footprint.
Concrete, dirt, and debris with significant weight require dedicated containers. We size these specifically for heavy loads.
A general contractor in Cannon Beach, OR managed waste through a national hauler. Pricing varied project-to-project with no predictability. Pickups were scheduled "within a two-day window." Overflow charges appeared frequently.
Same contractor, switched to Porta Potty Rentals Mum. Flat-rate pricing per container size. Pickups scheduled for specific dates. Weight limits clearly stated and realistic for project types. Overflow charges: zero in the past year, because limits are set correctly upfront.
Result: predictable costs, no scheduling uncertainty, and one less vendor to manage.
Container Recommendation
We ask about your project scope, materials, and timeline — then recommend a size based on actual volume projections. Oversized containers waste money. Undersized ones require second hauls.
Delivery Confirmation
Every rental includes a confirmed delivery window. You know when to expect the container, and our dispatch verifies access before the truck rolls.
Pickup Scheduling
You select your pickup date. Need to extend? Clear daily rates, communicated upfront. No guessing.
Weight Limit Clarity
Every container has a posted weight limit. We explain what that means in practical terms: "This 20-yard handles most renovation debris but not a full load of concrete." Overages only apply when limits are genuinely exceeded — and you'll know the threshold before you load.
Problem 1: Unclear pricing with hidden fees.
Every Mum quote includes delivery, pickup, and your rental window. No fuel surcharges, no administrative fees, no surprise line items.
Problem 2: Delivery delays that stall projects.
We confirm delivery windows in advance and communicate if anything changes. Contractors in Cannon Beach, OR don't lose a morning waiting on a "sometime today" arrival.
Problem 3: Pickups that require follow-up.
Pickup requests are logged and confirmed. You receive a text or email with the scheduled date. The truck shows up.
The number-one billing surprise in dumpster rental is weight-based overages. Here's how it works — and how to avoid it.
Every container has a weight limit, typically measured in tons. A 20-yard dumpster might have a 3-ton limit. That's sufficient for drywall, wood, and general debris. But concrete, dirt, or shingles add weight fast.
Practical guidance:
We calculate expected weight with you before delivery. When you're unsure, ask. Avoiding an overage is always better than disputing one.
"We've used Mum for six projects this year. Pricing is consistent, pickups happen on time, and we never have to chase anyone down."
Clearwater Renovations
"Rented a 20-yard for a basement cleanout. Delivery was on time, the driver walked me through placement options, and pickup happened exactly when scheduled."
Jeremy T., Homeowner
"After switching from a national provider, the difference was immediate. Mum treats residential cleanouts with the same reliability as commercial jobs."
